52 nd Annual Sports day was held on Wednesday, the 26 th August, 2015 at our school premises. Mrs.D.Nirmala Rani, M.Com., M.Ed.,M.Phil, ( Headmistress, Muruga Dhanushkodi GHSS ) gave a warm welcome address. Mr.K.Elango, B.A., (Member, MUruga Dhanushkodi GHSS) inaugurated the sports meet at 2p.m.

Mr.T.S.T.R.Premkumaran, (Secretary, Muruga Dhanushkodi GHSS) welcomed the gatherings. Inaugural speech was given by Mr.K.Elango, B.A., ( Member, MUruga Dhanushkodi GHSS). In his inaugural speech, he stressed the importance of physical exercises. Annual report was read by our Physical Directress ,Mrs.P.Ponni, M.A.,M.P.Ed., M.Phil, Our Chief guest, Dr.P.Nagarajan, M.A., M.Sc., M.B.A.,M.P.Ed, Ph.D, (Superintendent of Customs and Central Excise) presided over the function. In his presidential address he stressed the significance of sports and gave some tips to improve our students skills. Students were given prizes by our Chief guest.

March past by four contingents and cultural programmes were given by our students enthusiastically.
